Cornelius “Neil” Peet Poillon, 69, of Cranberry Twp., PA, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, on Monday, December 19, 2022. Born on July 4, 1953, and raised in Montclair, NJ, he was the son of the late William and Suzanne (Peet) Poillon. Neil graduated from Upsala College with a degree in Economics, and earned his MBA from the University of San Diego. He retired from a career in finance and wealth management. One of his greatest achievements was founding and developing the Seneca Valley Lacrosse Association, which is now one of the premier teams in Western PA. He also enjoyed participating as a board member for the CMU, Tepper School of Business Management Game. Neil was known as a great cook and lover of fine spirits and good music. Neil was a member of Fort MacIntosh Club, Tuetonia Mannerchor, Elks Club, Pinehurst Cattlemen’s Association, Moto Guzzi National Owners Club, S-Car Preservation Society, Pittsburgh Vanagon Club, Duetschtown and Spring Garden Council, Sons of the American Revolution, and proud to be a Makers Mark Ambassador. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of six and a half years, Christine (Sommer) Poillon; and his blended family of children, Courtney (Ben) Remmey, Peet (Melissa) Poillon, Morgan (Jacob) Popham, Kelsey Prisby, Kathryn Scary, and Jesse Prisby. Neil also leaves behind his brother, Roy Poillon, sisters Marcia Turner and Nannette McCoy as well as 6 brothers-in-law and 4 sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Neil was a proud Papa to his grandchildren, Cate, Cassie, Allie, Reid, Emma, Jack and Wes. Friends will be received Saturday, January 14, 2023 2 PM until the time of service at 6 PM in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc. 333 Third St., Beaver.
