Daniel Gornjak

Daniel Gornjak, 69, of Midland, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at his home.

Born April 11, 1947 in Germany, he was a son of the late Stanislav and Maria Gornjak. Dan served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked for over 20 years at the Midland Post Office, having previously worked at Crucible Steel, Colt Industries. He was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland. In his spare time, Dan was an avid reader and a proud Pittsburgh sports fan.

Dan is survived by one brother, Steve (Colleen) Gornak, Lake Wylie, SC, one sister, Josephine (Rodney) Fedorchak, Mt. Lebanon, three nieces, Melissa (Aaron) Asher, Lake Wylie, SC, Alexis (Brian) Cox, Mt. Lebanon, and Stephanie (Michael) Shields, Scott Township, two nephews, Jason Gornak, Ft. Mill, SC, and Nicholas (Jennifer) Fedorchak, Philadelphia, as well as six great-nieces.

Services were private with interment taking place at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver. All arrangements were handled by the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
