Darlene Gillespie "Dizz" Kermiet

Darlene Gillespie Kermiet (“Dizz”), 74, of Leland, NC, formerly of Brighton Township, PA, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026. She was born July 20, 1952 in Rochester, PA. Darlene was the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Werner) Gillespie. She had been employed in the medical field in different capacities. Darlene was a member of Vanport Presbyterian Church, where she had served as an Elder.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Paul Kermiet.

She will be missed by her daughter, Tara Kermiet, and son-in-law, Jae Kim; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Bob Whittingham; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Penny and John Cline; two nephews, Stephen (Abbie) Whittingham and Bryce (Natalie) Whittingham and their families; two nieces, Renee (Chris) Carnahan and Leanne Cline and their families; and stepdaughter, Christine Moye (John Pamer) and her family.

Friends will be received Monday, November 2, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A service will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Vanport Presbyterian Church, 289 Georgetown Ln., Beaver, PA 15009 .

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Darlene’s name may be made to Vanport Presbyterian Church, 289 Georgetown Ln., Beaver, PA 15009.
