David M. Henry, Jr.

David M. Henry, Jr., 92, of Brighton Twp., passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019.

Born July 11, 1927 in Aliquippa, he was a son of the late David M. and Mary Henry, Sr. David served proudly as a corporal in the U. S. Marines Corps during WWII. A resident of Brighton Twp. most of his life, he returned home to work at Westinghouse, Beaver, retiring as a group leader after a 40-year career. He was a member of the Monaca American Legion and the Midland Sportsman Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60-years, Shirley J. Henry in 2018; and his sister, Margaret Carroll.

David will be greatly missed by his son, Gregory Henry, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter, Terri Young, Brighton Twp.; and his cherished grandson, GySgt. David (Kayla) Young, Camp Lejeune, NC. He was anxiously awaiting the birth of his great-grandson, Jack Morrison Young.

Friends will be received Wednesday, September 11, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.
