David R. Nestor

David R. Nestor, 58, of Vanport passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 27, 2017.

Born December 2, 1958 in Sewickley, he was a son of Kathryn Reeder Nestor, Dublin, OH, and the late James K. Nestor. A 1977 Beaver Area High School graduate, David was employed as an electrician, working in several states before his employment at Brighton Rehab and Wellness, Brighton Twp. for the past 4 years. He was a member of Faith 2 Faith, Rochester.

In addition to his mother Kathryn, he will be sadly missed by his cherished children, Aaron, Mary-Hannah, Emmalyn, Luke, and Brian; his siblings Bradley J. (Lori) Nestor and sons, Douglas and Samuel, Erie and Barbara (Johnny) Hoylman and their children Olivia and Jacob, Dublin, OH. He is also survived by a loving extended family including Uncle Chuck and Aunt Connie and their special family, and the special family of his late Uncle Robert and Aunt Beverly; along with many caring second cousins in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

David was fortunate to have three long time special friends, Sharon Zehnder, Brad Smallwood, and Nick Vasilas.

Besides his father, David was preceded in death by a brother, Brian D. Nestor; grandparents Ruth and Ivan Moffet and Roscoe and Caroline Nestor; and triplet niece and nephews, Julie Ann, Andrew Paul, and Michael Bradley Nestor; and cousin, Daniel Nestor.

Friends will be received during a memorial visitation Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Beaver. Reverend Freda Snyder and Pastor Bill Blume will officiate. A special service, honoring David, will be celebrated Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. at Faith 2 Faith, Rochester. Interment will take place at a later date at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver. David was quick to help, add humor as needed, and possessed a never quit attitude.
