David N. Shallcross

David Shallcross, 67, of Beaver, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Born June 21, 1955 in Bethel Park, he was a son of the late George and Jean Shallcross. Dave had a long career as a sales representative, but his greatest passion was community service. He tirelessly worked for Beaver as a school board member from 1991-1999, and as a Beaver Borough Councilman. He was also a devoted fan of all Beaver Bobcat and Pittsburgh sports teams.

Dave will be greatly missed by his wife, Lynne Shallcross, Beaver; son, Connor Shallcross, Robinson Twp.; daughter, Courtney Shallcross, Brooklyn, NY; brothers, George “Shelly” Shallcross, Beaver and Jamie Shallcross, Conroe, TX; sisters, Pam (Chuck) Dorau, Spring, TX and Jeannie (Rick) Rance, Kingwood, TX; sister-in-law, Fredrica “Ann” Shallcross, Brighton Twp.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William “Skip” Shallcross.

Friends will be received Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, April 14, 2023, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Beaver. Interment at Beaver Cemetery will take place at a later date.
