Deborah (Ecimovic) Sokolowski

Deborah (Ecimovic) Sokolowski, 67, of Ohioville, passed away at home surrounded by her family, Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Born March 8, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Steve and Josephine Crapis Ecimovic. Debbie graduated from Freedom High School and was a devoted wife to her husband Jake, and loving mother to her son T.J. Her dogs, Meeko and Sadie, were also a big part of her life. She would visit the Beaver County Humane Society often where she loved to rescue dogs.

Debbie will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Jake Sokolowski, Ohioville; son, Thomas “T.J” (Wendy Ayala) Gallo, NYC; brothers, Steven (Kathy) Ecimovic and Allan (Debra) Ecimovic; sister, Eleanor Dougherty; brothers and sisters-in-law, Art (Sherri) Sokolowski, Crindia Sokolowski, Mark (LuAnne) Sokolowski, Frank (Vicky) Sokolowski, Andy (Caren) Sokolowski, Mitch (Elaine) Sokolowski, Roy (Susan) Sokolowski, Joe Sokolowski, and Linda (John) Cook; along with numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins; along with special friend and cousin, John “Slugger” Crispino.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Betty Sokolowski; sister, Patty James; and brothers-in-law, Lewis and Edward Sokolowski.

Friends will be received Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., as well as Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A private interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Ohioville. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
