Deborah L. Walters

Deborah Lee Walters, 70, of Monaca, formerly of New Brighton, passed away surrounded by family at home, following a lengthy illness, Monday, September 11, 2023.

Born March 5, 1953 in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late Frank W. and Kathryn Ahern. A resident of Monaca, Deborah will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and sister, and proud grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin L. Walters; sister-in-law Jean Ahern, and brother-in-law David Walters.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Erica K. (Ret. Master Chief John) Zilk, Virginia, Andrea K. (Eric) Popovich, and Christina L. (Nicholas) Magnotta, all of Center Twp.; brothers, Bruce Ahern, Jeffrey (Jill) Ahern, and Gregory (Gigi Cassi) Ahern; sister-in-law, Beatrice Walters; and grandchildren, John E. (Rachel) Zilk, Joshua G. Zilk, Dominick, Mia, and Kylie Magnotta, and Grayson Popovich; along with many nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Jo and Mike Super.

As per Deborah’s wishes, all arrangements were private and will be officiated by Pastor Steve Vesolich. Professional services have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Deborah’s name may be made to the Beaver County Heart and Cancer Association, 3582 Brodhead Road, Suite 201, Monaca, PA 15061.
