Dianne Lynne Gussett, 63, of Beaver passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at home, surrounded by her loving family, following her courageous battle with cancer.
Born June 2, 1956 in Pontiac, MI, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Zada Witt Jaruzel. A proud veteran of the U. S. Air Force, Dianne served as an avionics technician. It was during her career with the military that she met her best friend and husband, Charlie, and together, spent the next 4 decades raising their children and grandchildren, traveling, and enjoying the company of their large, gregarious families. As the epitome of “positive attitude”; whose glass was never half full nor half empty, but always filled to the brim, Dianne was a natural caregiver, who shared her love and compassion with the lucky children she babysat, those in need, and the sick and elderly whose hands she held at the end of their lives. In her spare time, she could be found knitting or crocheting blankets for her family, friends, and neighborhood teens who were leaving home to go away to college. A woman of music and faith, she was a member of Northbridge Community Church, Cranberry Twp. Dianne’s radiant smile and unfailing kindness will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Dianne will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 40 years, Charles Gussett; her son, Charles Gussett, Jr.; two daughters, Kristy (Kenneth) McKnight, and Kimberly (Bradley) Edmiston; brothers, Mark, John, and Richard Jaruzel; sisters, Nancy Flanigan, Kathleen Jablonski, and Rose DuPont; and three cherished grandsons, Anthony Petersen, and Joseph and Landon McKnight.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Jaruzel.
Friends will be received Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a funeral service will be conducted by her pastor, Reverend Jame Price, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
