Dolores J. Bodrie

Dolores J. (Violette) Bodrie, 89, of Brighton Twp., PA., passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018.

Born June 9, 1929 in Flint, MI, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Hermina Reichl Violette. Dolores graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1947, and soon after, married Howard Bodrie in 1949. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother. She was also a longtime member of St. John Vianney Church in Flint, Michigan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death earlier this year by her husband, Howard; brothers, Larry and Bernard; her daughter, Karolyn Gearino.

Dolores will be sadly missed by two sons, Dennis (Sue) Bodrie, Plymouth, MI, and Bruce (Debbie) Bodrie, Fort Worth, TX; a daughter, Kathy (Doug) Rayburn, Fuquay Verina, N.C.; a brother, Douglas Violette, Linden, MI; and five grandchildren, Meghan, Jennifer, Evan, Alex, and Max and great grandchildren Madelyn and Floyd.
