Dominick F. “Buddy” Caruso, 94, of Beaver Falls, passed away surrounded by his family, Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at UPMC Mercy.
Born January 30, 1927 in Beaver Falls, he was a son of the late Eugene and Matilda Caruso. A proud veteran of the U. S. Army who served during WWII, Dominick went on to retire from Townsend Textron. Upon his retirement, he worked as a Wellness Attendant at the Beaver County YMCA, Chippewa Twp. He was a faithful member of St. Monica Church, Chippewa Twp, as well as an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
In addition to his parents, Dominick was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Josephine Mary Kondracki Caruso in 2016; and sister, Caroline “Babe” Hornacek.
He will be greatly missed by his sons, Michael Caruso, Richardson, TX, and Paul Caruso, Beaver; daughters, Denise DeSanzo, Darlington, and Patricia Javens, Troutville, PA; sister, Edith “Edie” Veon; grandchildren, Maureen DeSanzo, Todd and Rick Javens, Lauren Kearney, Jessica VanLandingham, Tyler and Sydney Caruso, and Abbey Vigna; and great-grandchildren, Emily and Andrew Putt, Dru, Cole, Blake, Parker, and Rowan Javens, Mason, Reese, Carson, Ruby, and Evie Kearney, Carter and Josephine Caruso, and Allan VanLandingham.
As per Dominick’s wishes, all services were private. He was laid to rest alongside his wife, Mary at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaver Falls. Professional services have been entrusted to Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
