Donald Edgar Bradshaw, 83 of Ellerbe, NC and formerly of Bedford, VA, Monaca, and Beaver passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in Pinehurst, NC.

Born October 29, 1931 in Beaver, he was a son of the late Cramer Cannell and Ferne Elizabeth Kirk Bradshaw, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellerbe, NC. He worked as a public school administrator, retiring as the Superintendent of the Center School District. A graduate of Beaver Area High School, Geneva College, and the University of Pittsburgh, he was a veteran of the US Army.

Preceding him in death, besides his parents, were five brothers, Lewis Earl, Cramer Kirk, Robert Leslie, Kenneth Wilmer and Ralph William Bradshaw, and two sisters Virginia Ferne Coffey, and Ruth Eleanor Dinkins.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Dorothy Kuna Bradshaw, Aberdeen, NC, three sons, Donald Gary Bradshaw, Canonsburg, Ronald William Bradshaw, Waco, TX, Jeffrey Alan Bradshaw, State College, a daughter, Barbara Lee Brown, Ellerbe, NC, a brother, Ronald E. Bradshaw, Beaver Falls, a sister, Esther Faye Block, Prescott, AZ, a niece, Patty North, Oswego, NY, seven grandchildren, Carissa B. Shealy, Charleston, SC, Rachel L. Brown, Ellerbe, NC, Ben Bradshaw, Pittsburgh, Elizabeth Henning, Austin, TX, Gregory, Jeffrey and John Bradshaw, State College, and two great-grandchildren, Gemma and Ethan Shealy, Charleston, SC.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 am by his son-in-law and pastor, Dr. James M. Brown. Interment accompanied by full military rites by the Beaver County Special Unit will follow at the Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
