Donnie G. Calvert, 77, of Beaver, went home to be with his Father God, on Father’s Day, June 18,2023, surrounded at home by his loving family. Born January 9, 1946 in New Brighton, Donnie will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father and Pappy. Comical by nature, he could make anyone laugh with his quick wit and love of people. Donnie never met a stranger, becoming friends by the time a conversation ended. He was a lifetime member of the Jaycees. Donnie will be greatly missed by his wife of 56-years, Marjorie Horinka Calvert; daughter, Tawny (Carl) Dawson, Beaver; son, Brandon (Lori) Calvert, East Palestine, OH; brothers-in-law, Eddie Horinka and David (Sandy) Horinka; grandchildren, Tyler (Brynna) Manuel, Lindsey Patterson, and Braydon Dawson; along with great-grandchildren, Abriella, Ellienna, Bryson, Charlotte, Carter, Oliver, Deryk, and Evelynn; Butters and all of his four-legged grand puppies; and his “Barclay Hill Bunch”. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern Calvert and Hazel Wudski; step-mother, Mary Calvert; step-father, Robert Wudski; grandson, Joshua Clark Manuel; and numerous extended family members. Friends will be received Friday, June 23, 2023, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A celebration of life will be conducted at Four Mile Presbyterian Church, Ohioville, Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 3p.m. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to Noll Funeral Home, Inc.
