Dorothy Hanner

Dorothy Reott Hanner, 93, of Industry, passed away Sunday morning, October 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 7, 1930, in Industry, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Marie Bopp Reott, and was a faithful member of St. Blaise Parish. Dorothy was a devoted homemaker, she will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother to her daughters and her grandchildren, they truly were her life. In additional to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Thomas A. Hanner; and sister, Phyllis Smith. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle & John Smedley, Baden, Debra & Brian Bussard, Ohioville, Denise & Terry Castelli, Indianapolis, IN, Kimberly & Kevin Kelley Sr., Industry, eight grandchildren and their spouses, Scott (RaeAnn) Smedley, Nicole Smedley, Jennifer (Shaun) Badgett, Melissa (Ryan) Presutti, Justin (Angela) Castelli, Kristin (Devin) Lipinski, Kevin (Kristi) Kelley, Jr., & Kaitlyn (Jeremy Lowell) Kelley O.D., thirteen great-grandchildren, Briannah & Aubrei Badgett, Rylee & Alayna Presutti, McKenna and Keira Kelley; Roman, Leo, Silas Castelli; Trevin and Kaia Lipinski; Alice and Owen Smedley; and Tristan and Dakota Vincent; as well as her fur-grandchildren, Molly and Belle, who were at her side, and Sophie, Bruno, and Reese, who visited her home often.
