Dorothy J. Stewart

Dorothy J. Stewart, 95, of Brighton Township, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at Heritage Valley Beaver, Pennsylvania.

Born July 22, 1926 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Elsie Reynolds Fryer. She was a Brighton Township resident since 1954 and a member of the Hope Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her loving husband, Alfred Stewart, who also passed on the Valentine’s Day in 2009.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald (Debbie) Stewart, Center Township, Randall (Pam) Stewart, Center Township; sister, Alice Crawford, Allentown; four grandchildren, Rachel (Kevin) Spall, Brandon (Kristen) Stewart, Justin (Jessica) Stewart, and Courtney (Jeff) McNees; and eight great-grandchildren, Martha, Caleb, Noah, Beatrice, Jackson, Stella, William, and Charlotte. She was anxiously awaiting a new great-granddaughter in June.

As per Dorothy’s wishes, no public services were held.

Professional Arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com. Interment will be held at Beaver Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requested that memorial contributions be made in Dorothy’s name to Hope Lutheran Church, 45 Maple Dr, Beaver, PA 15009. The family would like to thank the staff of Beaver Meadows for the wonderful care provided to Dorothy over the last three and a half years.
