Dorothy June Vasil Valentine

Dorothy June Vasil Valentine, 88, of Beaver, formerly of Northside, Pittsburgh, passed away on October 12, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s home. Born on July 26th, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John and Maude Vasil, and a faithful member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church. Dorothy worked as a Medical Transcriptionist and assisted with Meals on Wheels. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William B. Valentine; her siblings, John, MaryAnn, Margaret, Robert, James, Billy, Andrew, and her youngest sister, Aileen, who passed unexpectedly just moments after Dorothy. Dorothy and Aileen spent 78 years together on this Earth and will be bonded together into eternity. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her son, Robert (Vivian) Valentine; two daughters, Rebecca Valentine, and Kelly (Francis) Higgins; a sister-in-law, Jeanne (Oliver) Bachmann; her grandchildren, Ryan (Naoko) Whitlock, Chad (Heather) Whitlock, Marissa (Dave) Mullinax, J.T. Portman, Meghan (Stephanie) Higgins, and Shaun Higgins; and her eight great-grandchildren. Nothing brought Dorothy more joy than the time spent with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren Friends will be received on Friday October 15, 2021 from 4pm-8pm in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 16, 2021 at 10am in Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church.
