Friday, April 26th, our beloved Edward Carl Deffenbaugh was welcomed into the arms of our Lord Jesus.
Edward was born in the Southside of Pittsburgh on August 29th, 1928 to Mary and Monte Deffenbaugh.
Edward soon met and fell in love with Elsie Kerr of Brighton Township. Their love and commitment was a strong testament to family and friends. They resided in Brighton Township for 47 years.
Edward served in the Marine Corps, and was one of the proudest to have honored his country.
He was a faithful member of Four Mile Presbyterian Church for 40 plus years, and more recently a member of Bridgewater Presbyterian Church.
Edward leaves behind his great grandchildren AnnaMaria, Phillip, Emily, Jacob, Jack, Beau, Ava, Hunter, and Karamina; grandchildren Kristin, Gretchen (Ramone), Michael (Amanda), Christopher (Pam), and Sarah Marie; and children Joyce (Michael) and Mark. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Vicky, as well as his parents, and siblings Vernon, Donald, and Margaret.
“Eddie” leaves behind the grand love of his life, Elsie, committed in love for 68 and a half years.

Friends will be received on April 29, 2019 in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver PA, 15009 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm, officiated by Reverend Doctor William Silver. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com. Interment to follow in Beaver Cemetery where Full Military Rites will be conducted.
