Edward L. Fudurich, 89 of Midland, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Heritage Valley Beaver surrounded by his family.
Born August 9, 1925, he was a son of the late Mike and Barbara Kambic Fudurich, and had been a resident of Midland all of his life. A veteran of the US Navy, he was stationed in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He retired from Crucible Steel, Colt Industries, Midland, in the Hot Strip after 35 years. A member of St. Blaise Parish, Midland, he was also a member of the Midland Serbian Club, and SNPJ, and the Slovene National Society.
Preceding him in death, besides his parents, were his wife, Luby (Turchich) Fudurich in 1998, a brother, Michael Fudurich, and two sisters, Marie Skochich, and Anna Fudurich.
He is survived by his beloved girlfriend of 16 years, Marianne Muhic, Industry, four daughters, Loretta (Michael) Conti, Nancy Quinzio, Barbara (Mike) Smith, Betsy Fudurich, all of Midland, a sister, Elizabeth O’Donnell, Industry, five grandchildren, Toni Marie Lawson, Erica (Joseph) Manypenny, Michael (Rachel) Smith, Vincent Quinzio, Lisa Maria Conti, and four great-grandchildren, Marcus and Aaron Lawson, Sophia and Alex Smith.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 am at St. Blaise Parish, Midland by Father Michel Yaksick, followed by full military rites by the Midland American Legion.
