Edward C. Tanzillo

Edward C. Tanzillo, 85, of Beaver, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Heritage Valley Hospital, Brighton Township.

Born November 6, 1930 in Pittsburgh, Edward was the son of the late John W. and Elizabeth Wehling Tanzillo.  Edward retired from Sears after a career of 40 years as a successful salesman.  He was a faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver and a very proud veteran of the U. S. Army.  Edward was a member of the Brighton Township Lions Club for many years.

Surviving Edward is his caring and devoted wife of 63 years, Regina DeFrancesco Tanzillo, who has always been by his side.

He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Donna (Joseph) Sacco with their children Alex and his wife, Justine, Nick, Logan, Justin, and Christian; Diane (Gene) Zober, with their children Kyle and Kelsey, his adoring sister Beverly A. (James) Finnerty; older brother, John “Jack” L. (Opal) Tanzillo, CO, along with several loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday, January 25, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. William Schwartz, Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at 11:00 am, at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver.  Military Honors, rendered by the Beaver County Special Unit, will be given at that time.  Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.  Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Edward’s name may be made to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 200 East End Avenue, Beaver, PA 15009.
