Elaine C. Osmanski

Elaine C. Osmanski, 74, of Brighton Twp., passed away with her family at her side, Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Born in December, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Teresa Cloonan. Raised in Richmond, VA, Elaine (Laney) graduated in 1965 from Sacred Heart College in Belmont, NC. She was a proud wife, mother and grandmother and loved her family dearly. She began her career in advertising but after having her first child, chose to focus her time and love on her family. She was a talented writer and went on to write and self-publish books after her children went to college. Elaine excelled in athletics, especially swimming, and she coached her children’s sports teams. She was a faithful and active member of Saints Peter and Paul Church, in Beaver, PA. Elaine will be greatly missed by her husband of 50 years, Gerald S. Osmanski, Brighton Twp.; her daughter, Michelle (Patrick) Harken and cherished grandson, Joshua, Elmhurst, IL; her son, Gregory, Chicago, IL; three sisters, Patricia Parker, Arlington, TX, Bernadette (Richard) Kumer, and Mary (David) Pinyot, both of Cranberry Twp.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday, December 14, 2020, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by a close family friend, Fr. Lawrence DiNardo, on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver, followed by a private interment at Beaver Cemetery.
