Elizabeth A. "Betty" Shanahan

Elizabeth “Betty” Shanahan, 89, of Industry, PA passed away on February 6, 2025. Born on December 20, 1935, in Midland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis A. Giovanelli Sr. and Ann (DiMaggio) Giovanelli. Betty, along with her husband Don, was a Restauranteur/Owner of the Country Inn Restaurant in Industry, PA for many years. She was also a faithful and active member of St. Augustine Parish, St. Blaise Catholic Church. Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Shanahan and sisters: Louise Nicholson, Ellen “Rita” Kildea and brother, Louis A. Giovanelli Jr. Betty is survived by her nieces and nephews, Kim (Paul) Brickman, Karen (Tim) Weber, Kyle Nicholson, Kirk (Wendy) Nicholson, Thomas Kildea Jr., Kevin Kildea, Brian Kildea, Ellyn (Gary) Baillio and Sharon (Scott) Vetter, as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received on Monday, February 10, 2025 in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home Inc., 629 Midland Avenue, Midland PA 15059, from 4pm-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 10:30am at St Augustine Parish/ St. Blaise Catholic Church, 772 Ohio Avenue, Midland PA 15059.
