Elizabeth G. Sullivan

Elizabeth G. Sullivan, 83, of Brighton Twp., went to be with the Lord, December 17, 2020 at Providence Health Care, Beaver Falls.

Born February 21, 1937 in Avalon, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Margaret E. Hodge Gormley. Liz was a very gifted musician who used her talents by playing piano in church and accompanying singing groups. In addition, she taught many local children how to play the piano, but will be most remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud Grandma. She was active in Community Bible Study and was a former area director of Community Concerts of Beaver County. Elizabeth was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church, Beaver.

In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death earlier this year by both her beloved husband of nearly 62 years, Donald J. Sullivan, and her brother, William J. Gormley.

Liz was dearly loved by her family and many friends. She is survived by her son, Mark (Susan) Sullivan, Brighton Twp., daughter, Catherine (Scott) Schlachter, College Hill, and son, Daniel (Rosemaree) Sullivan, Chippewa Twp. She had nine grandchildren: Patrick, Lauren and Lindsay Sullivan, Maggie (Kyle) Gipe, Joshua, Rachel, Joseph, Rebekah and Sarah Sullivan.

Friends will be received Sunday, December 20, 2020, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A private service will be conducted Monday, December 21, 2020, followed by interment at Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
