Emma Blum Bell, 92, of Beaver, passed away at home Monday, May 17, 2021.
Born June 30, 1928 in South Beaver Twp., she was a daughter of the late August and Della Blum. A caring and loving homemaker, Emma enjoyed gardening and sitting on her porch, talking with her neighbors. Those who knew her never had a bad word to say about Emma as she was truly kind and generous to everyone she met, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Emma was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Chippewa Twp., and a member of the quilting group at First Lutheran Church, Beaver Falls.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bell in 2007; and all her siblings.
Emma will be greatly missed by her son, Richard W. (Joan) Bell, Chippewa Twp.; daughters, Margaret (Louis) Baldassare, Sarver, and Ruth Ann (Thomas) Kuhlmann, Beaver; grandchildren, Richard H. Bell, East Palestine, OH, Melissa J. Wargin, Natrona Heights, Craig (Kelly) Baldassare, Pittsburgh, Claudine E. (Hugh) Rumbaugh, Sarver, and Timothy J. (Heather) Kuhlmann, and Abby N. (William) Dorsky, all of Vanport Twp.; great-grandchildren, Liam Dorsky, Catherine, Reanna, Richard, and Courtney Bell, Sydnie and Seth Wargin, Jackson, Graycin and Griffin Baldassare, Taylor and Nathaniel Kuhlmann, and Conor and Hudson Rumbaugh; along with four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday, May 21, 2021 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a service will be conducted Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. A private interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Emma’s name may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001, or the Beaver County Cancer and Heart Society, 3582 Brodhead Road, #201, Monaca, PA 15061.
The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for the tender care given to Emma. A special thanks to Dr. Maurice Prendergast for his kind and compassionate care over the years.
