Eugene E. Standley

Eugene E. Standley, 85, of Woodruff, SC, formerly of Vanport Township, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016. Born July 11, 1931 in Aliquippa, he was a son of the late Frank D. and Ethel Standley. Eugene retired from the former LTV Steel Mill, Aliquippa, and was a member of the SNPJ Club. In his spare time, Eugene enjoyed bowling, especially as a member of the Beaver Valley Ten Pin Club. Preceding Eugene in death was his beloved wife of 54 years, Jean Marie in 2007, and his son David in 2013. He is survived by one son Jeffrey (Linda) Standley, Woodruff, SC; two grandchildren, Barbara (Chris) Hurt, and Jeffrey Standley Jr; and three great-grandchildren, Kadin, Nate, and Abby, all of Woodruff, SC. Friends will be received Friday, December 2, 2016 from 3 pm until time of service at 6 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.
