Florence Theresa Spagnola, 93, of Vanport, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Providence Care Center.
Born October 25, 1921 in Ambridge, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Spagnola, and had lived in Ambridge most of his life. She had formerly worked at an open air market owned by the family in her early years in Ambridge and a Cheese Factory in California. She came home to live with her dearly beloved sister, Sally Sposaro, who preceded her in death in 2012. Florence attended Saints Peter & Paul Church, Beaver.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and was the last surviving sibling of 13 brothers and sisters.
Flo was a cherished aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was loved by everyone she met and had many friends and neighbors at Van Buren Homes and the staff at Providence Care Center.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Saints Peter & Paul Church, Beaver, by Father Robert Miller. Entombment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery.
