Frances Augustine, 101, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Ohioville Borough, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at UPMC Cranberry Place.
Born July 8, 1914 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Mary Orfei Cruciotti and had been a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.
Beside her parents, preceding her in death was her husband, John Augustine, and 2 brothers, Vincent and John Cruciotti, and a sister, Elsie Cruciotti.
Frances is survived by 3 sons, Joseph (Carolyn) Augustine of Wexford, Pennsylvania, John (Becky) Augustine of Louisville, Colorado, and Dr. James (Maureen) Augustine of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Sylvia Hess of Hamden, Connecticut, and Lydia (Nick) Cindric of Willoughby, Ohio, along with 4 grandchildren, Benjamin (Dr. Alicia) Augustine of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Dr. Melissa ( Dr. Matthew) Boylan of Columbia, South Carolina, Andrew (Whitney) Augustine of Walnut Creek, California, and Meagan Augustine of Denver, Colorado. Frances had 1 great grandson, Everett Augustine of Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Friends will be received Friday from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Avenue, Midland, PA 15059. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Fr. Michael Yaksick, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. Blaise Roman Catholic Church in Midland. A private interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery.
