Francis W. Maderia

Francis W. Maderia, 83, of Beaver, Pennsylvania, passed away, Friday, November 25, 2022, after complications of Parkinson’s Disease, at Rochester Manor, Rochester, PA. Born October 22, 1939, in Avella, PA, Francis was the son of the late William O. and Selah J. Smith Maderia. He served in the US Navy during peacetime, and was a resident of Vanport and Beaver. Francis retired from the Beaver Post Office, after 34 years of service. He was a member of Van Buren Men’s Club and the Sportsmen’s Club of Monaca. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Maderia; and step-daughter, Katherine Hoban. Francis is survived by his wife, Karen F. Maderia; daughters, Debbie (Gary Snair) Lindeman, and Lee Ann (George) Cametti; Step-daughter, Patricia (Orlando) Valero; step-son, Michael (Theresa) Hoban; grandchildren, Devyn (Cassie) Lindemann, Jonathan Lindemann, Madeline Hoban, Keira and Nolan Valero, Jordon (Kristina) Popp, Jamie (Molly) Popp, Kari (Donny) Couch, Kristen Blume, Maxwell Reed; and great-grandchildren, Logan Lindemann, Aiden Taddeo, Hendrix Lindemann, Amheer Person, Kahlene Reeves, Allison, Jillian, and Luca Popp, and Joanna Popp; and his beloved dog, Chester.
