Frank C. Caratelli, Jr.

Frank C. Caratelli Jr., 66, of Brighton Township, passed away on November 16, 2020 at Heritage Valley Beaver after complications from COVID-19.

Born on April 1, 1954 in Rochester, he was the son of the late Frank and Nellie Caratelli Sr.  A 1972 graduate of Ambridge Area High School, Frank pursued several self-owned and operated businesses and finally retired from BCTA as an Electrical Technician. He will be most remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather.

As a very well-known musician in Beaver County, playing for bands such as Foxx, Stryke 3, Double Edge, and Dashboard Saints just to mention a few, Frank had been playing for 40 plus years.  He had touched the lives of so many people through his music, was always smiling, and always knew how to make people laugh.

Frank will be greatly missed by his wife of 45 years Shirley; a daughter April (Jason) Krepps; a sister Donna Crispeno; a brother in law Stan (Diane) Marsh; two granddaughters Taylor and Sydney Krepps that were the light of his life, and several nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his son Christopher Michael Caratelli.

The family would like to extend a sincere Thank You for the compassionate care given by all of the medical staff members on the COVID Floor and in the Critical Care Unit at Heritage Valley Beaver.
