Frank J. Flaim

Frank J. Flaim, 87, of Ohioville, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 5, 2015.

Born May 27, 1928 in Midland, he was a son of the late Frank and Ethel Flaim and had been a resident of Midland and Ohioville all his life. He retired as a crane operator from J & L Steel Specialty Steel in Midland, having previously worked at Crucible Steel, Colt Industries, Midland. Frank was also a veteran of the US Army.

Surviving Frank is his wife of 55 years, Joan Dawson Flaim, two daughters, Patti (Walter) Flenner and Susan (Donald) Griffith, all of Brighton Township, a sister, Helen Cindrich, Industry, four grandchildren, Alan Flenner, Charlotte, NC, Mallori (Joshua) Diamond, Brighton Township, Bethany (Brendan) Barlow, Powell, OH, and Ryan (Jenny) Burgess, Raleigh, NC., along with 2 great granddaughters, Tenley Burgess and Cecilia Diamond.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Roknich.

As per Frank’s wishes, visitation and services were private with interment in Highland Cemetery to follow at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
