Freda Holt Buck, 96, of Brighton Twp., went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2023, at her home peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 10, 1927, in Brighton Twp., she was the daughter of the late Richard S. Holt and Elda Margaret Tyson Holt. Freda was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant EPC Church, and had worked as a telephone operator. Freda was a member of the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brighton Township Ladies Fire Department Auxiliary, Beaver Area Football Parents, Beaver County Fireman’s Relief Association, Bell Telephone Retirees, and a lifetime member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers. Along with her parents, Freda is preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Omer Buck Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Buck; and her siblings. Freda will be sadly missed by her sons, Oliver O. Buck III (Christine), and Richard L. (Melissa) Buck; daughters, Sara Beth (Lennie) Miller, Judith Buck Fidurski (George), and Margaret Ann (Robert) Hoskinson; a special daughter-in-law, Sharon Forner; her grandchildren, Lee (Corrie) Miller, Michelle (Dustin) Addison, Corey Miller, Oliver O. (Tara) Buck IV, Harmony (John) Sharpless, Daniel (Jaimie) Fidurski, Christina (Kyle) Holt, Anthony (Emily) Fidurski, Robert (Alison) Hoskinson, Candice Hoskinson, Joshua (Jessie) Hoskinson, Matthew Hoskinson, Kelsey (Michael) Carvelli, Kyle Buck, Beau (Bobbie) Patton, Michaela Patton, and Amber Carmody (Jeff); twenty-five great-grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on November 28, 2023 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver PA 15009, where a funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday November 29, 2023 at 11am. Pastor Richard Herbster will be conducting services. Online condolence may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com. Interment to take place with her husband at Beaver Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared in Freda’s name to Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Rd, Cabot, PA 16023.
