Freda Davis

Freda Wingo Davis, 83, of Brighton Township, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Franciscan Manor, Beaver Falls.

Born February 23, 1933 in War, WV, she was a daughter of the late Elmer Cecil and Cora Lee Altizer Wingo. A long- time resident of Brighton Township, she retired from Penn State, Beaver as a staff assistant in the Continuing Education Department where she had worked for over 15 years. A faithful member of Park Presbyterian Church, Beaver, she served as a deacon and was a past president of the Beaver County Medical Society Auxiliary.

Surviving Freda are her four sons, Robert (Joyce) Davis, Bridgewater, Stephen Davis, Miami, FL, Craig (Lori Bruce) Davis, Patterson Heights, and Brad (Lisa) Davis, Brighton Township; one sister, Carol McCoy, NC; and ten grandchildren, Megan, Justin, Kayla, Karissa, Kaley, Ellen, Kristin, Olivia, Kara, and Ethan.

In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Susan Davis.

Friends will be received Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in Park Presbyterian Church, 275 Commerce St., Beaver from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. A private interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver. All arrangements are being handled by Noll Funeral Home, Inc., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
