Frederick J. Duncan, 49, of Beaver, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, Saturday, July 10, 2021.

Born June 29, 1972, he was a son of Georgene Unis Duncan, Aliquippa, and the late James Duncan, Sr. Fred graduated from Quigley Catholic High School and earned a Master’s Degree in History from Slippery Rock University. Fred was a proud lifelong member of Laborer’s Local #833 where he held many positions, including Financial Secretary. He retired as Business Manager in 2020. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley, Saints Peter and Paul Church, Beaver. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his family at The Pines.

In addition to his mother, Georgene, he will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 21 years, Cherie Tasker Duncan; three sons, Caleb, Isaac, and Elijah, and three daughters, Leah, Jessica, and Sarah, all of Beaver; his brother, Steve (Christine) Duncan, Carnegie; sister-in-law, Tracey Duncan, Aliquippa; Cherie’s parents, Andy and Coletta Tasker, Carnegie; and five nieces.

Along with his father, Fred was preceded in death by his brother, James Duncan, Jr.

Friends will be received Friday, July 16, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Robert Miller, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley, Saints Peter and Paul Church, Beaver. Interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery.
