Gary William Geiger, 77, of Brighton Twp., passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver, surrounded by his loving family.

Born October 26, 1940 in Salem, OH, he was a son of the late Donald and Mildred Geiger. A 1963 graduate of Youngstown University, he went on to proudly serve as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force as a B-52 Navigator during the Vietnam War, and later, retired as a Major from the Air Force Reserves. Gary went on to become the co-owner and Principal Agent with the S.E. Snyder Insurance Agency, Rochester, retiring in 2000 after a 32-year career. A resident of Brighton Twp. for 49 years, he was an active and faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church, Rochester where he served as an Elder and Clerk of Session.

Gary will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 52 years, Bonnie Geiger, Brighton Twp.; his son, Douglas William (Christine) Geiger, Silver Spring, MD; daughter, Diane (James) Morgan, Chippewa Twp.; four grandchildren, Jessica and Geoffrey Geiger, and Elyse and Craig Morgan; one sister, Gayle Shura, Reston, VA.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A funeral service, conducted by his friend, Reverend Lee Bittner, will take place Monday, February 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Rochester, where full military honors will be given by the Vietnam Veterans of America, Beaver County Chapter # 862. A private interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gary’s name may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 200 N Park St., Rochester, PA 15074.
