George Jeffrey Francis

George Jeffrey Francis, 68, of Port Saint Lucie, FL, formerly of Midland passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic-north, in Stuart, FL.

Born March 1, 1954, in East Liverpool, OH, he was the son of the late Steve and Virginia (Carraher) Francis. He graduated from Midland’s Lincoln High School and attended airline school in Hartford, Connecticut. He was employed by the airlines and Crucible Steel during his younger years. He belonged to St. Blaise parish and loved football and basketball.

Preceding him in death were his parents, in 2008 and 2010 and his nephew, Scott Boyd on September 4, 2009.

Surviving him are his sister, Mary, and her husband, Harry Boyd, whom George lived with after the death of his parents. Also surviving him are his niece, Jill Boyd Pavich, her husband David and their children Willow, 9yr., and Phoenix, 6yr., of Palm City, FL.

Friends will be received at the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Avenue, Midland, PA, 15059 on Wednesday evening, June 8th, from 6pm until 8pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9th at 10:30am at St. Blaise. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
