George R. Schuller

George R. Schuller, 90 of Chippewa formerly of Beaver, passed Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver with his family at his side.

Born August 3, 1924 in Rochester, he was a son of the late George and Katherine Schuller. He retired in 1980 as a supervisor at St. Joe Minerals in Potter Township, having worked there for over 35 years. A member of Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, he was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp having served during WWII.

Preceding him in death, besides his parents, were two sisters, Thelma Pfleghar and Eileen Fisher.

He is survived by his wife with whom he would have celebrated 70 years of marriage in June, Dorothy J. Brobeck Schuller, three daughters, Linda Schuller, Vanport, Kathy (Gary) Miller, Brighton Township, Roberta (Randy) Mitchell, Patterson Heights, eight grandchildren, Dale (Sarah) Minich, Donna (Matt) Lee, Cheryl (Bryce) Perkins, Tracey (David) Miller, Carol (Frank) Maresca, Brian (Katie) Miller, Kristi (Shayne) Eckels, Amy Mitchell, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, by Father Robert Miller, followed by full military rites by the Beaver County Special Unit. Private interment will be at the Beaver Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 200 East End Ave, Beaver, PA 15009. The family would like to thank the staff of Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab for their loving care of George.
