Gladys Barber Daniels Sadly, Gladys Barber Daniels fell asleep in death on November 30, 2023, at age 98. She was born in Beaver County, on November 18, 1925. Her parents were John Thomas Barber and Bertha Wilhelmina Siebert Barber Lang. She was raised by her mother and stepfather Joseph A. Lang in Industry, PA. She was much appreciated for helping to look after her half-sister and 6 half-brothers as they came along. Gladys worked for several years at the Westinghouse plant in Beaver, PA, prior to her marriage to William Daniels on November 27, 1952. As ministers of Jehovah’s Witnesses, they volunteered to assist as Bible teachers in small congregations in West Virginia and North Carolina over the next several years before returning to Beaver County. She later worked with the Lang family construction business. Bill preceded her in death on October 20, 1994. “Aunt Glady” will be remembered as always being kind, helpful, happy, with a great sense of humor, and a good piano player and cook. She is survived by her half-sister Edith Lang Marciniak, and half-brothers and their spouses, Joseph Lang Jr. and Rozanna, Robert Lang and Esther, Eugene Lang and Sue, and David Lang and Diane. Although she had no children of her own, many nephews and nieces in the Lang, Barber, and Daniels families remember her loving personality and will miss her. She was predeceased by her siblings Anna Marie Barber Reese, Thomas M. Barber, and James E. Barber, and by half-brothers Donald and Roy Lang and their wives. The family wishes to thank the staff at Cambridge Falls Senior Living, Wampum, for their care of Gladys. Professional Arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com. A memorial talk will be given at a later date by Robert Mortimer Jr., an elder at the Industry Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
