Glenn M. Boggs

Glenn M. Boggs, 87 of Vanport passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Providence Health Care Center, Beaver Falls, with his daughter, brother and sister-in-law at his side.

Born February 27, 1929 in New Brighton, he was a son of the late Glenn M. and Gertrude Merriman Boggs, and had been a resident of Vanport since 1988.  Glenn had retired in 1978 from Babcock and Wilcox, Beaver Falls, and had attended the Sylvania Hills Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his first wife, Margaret Bishoff Boggs in 1982, and his second wife, Margaret “Marge” Ludovici Boggs in 2006 and a sister, Doris Mittika.

Surviving is his daughter, Debra Sue (Dale) Kirk, Brooksville, FL, a brother, James (Denise) Boggs, Beaver, a sister, Judy Burroughs, California, 4 grandchildren, Mischelle Powell, David, Derek, and Richie Reno, and 5 great grandchildren.  Also surviving is Marge’s family as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver where a service will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 am by his pastor, Reverend Michael Bailey.  Private interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made if desired to a Leukemia Foundation in memory of the Boggs family.
