Grace Martha Nola

God decided to call home his beloved daughter, Grace Martha Nola, on March 21, 2024. She was born on January 2, 1936 in Bessemer PA to the late Giovanni and Franca Tomasello.

A graduate of Bessemer High School, she sang alto in the Chorus, and performed in the All State Chorus in 1954. She continued her love of singing and music as a member of church choirs and women’s groups for many years.

As a young girl she committed her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and followed his teachings as best she could the rest of her life. She was a member of many churches, including the Christian Assembly in Midland, Wildwood Chapel in Aliquippa, Calvary Assembly in Bessemer, and most recently New Castle First Assembly of God.

She was proud of her time as a “Klondike Girl” at Isaly’s, and developed a life-long love of ice cream.

She met the love of her life, Vernon R Nola Sr, at church camp and they married in June 1965. They were married 49 years, and made a nurturing home for raising their kids.

She was preceded in death by Vernon Sr, her parents, and her brothers Leonard and Nicholas.

She is survived by her six children, Jeanne (Larry), Joanne, Vernon Jr (Stephanie), Douglas (Dannielle), Gregory (Rachel), and Danielle (Christopher), fourteen grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Angelo, Matthew, Joshua, Alexander, Olivia, Benjamin, Aria, Isaac, Jacob, Gabrielle, Jocelyn, Elysse, and three great-grandchildren, London, Maverick, and Ava.

Friends will be received Thursday March 28, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm in the Noll Funeral Home, 333 Third St, Beaver. A Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday March 29, 2024 at 11am. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
