Guy N. DiRuscia, 89, of Brighton Township, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born April 23, 1927 in Beaver Falls, he was a son of the late Serafino and Susie DiRuscia. Guy was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in Germany during WWII. Upon his return home, he began his career at St. Joe Lead where he retired after over 30 years. He was a lifelong member of the Monaca American Legion, but will be most fondly remembered as a dedicated coach for the Brighton Township Baseball Program. Guy also served as a former director of the Beaver County American Legion, Region 8.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ramona Doyle DiRuscia in 1966; a sister, Joanne DiRuscia and brother, Carl DiRuscia.
Guy will be sadly missed by his sons, Richard (Nancy) DiRuscia, Pittsburgh and Keith (Marla) DiRuscia, Patterson Township; one daughter, Toni (Dave) Peabody, Brighton Township; a sister, Irene Toy, Beaver Falls; 10 cherished grandchildren, Mindy, Missy, Sara, Heather, Patrick, Jeffery, Derek, Stephanie, Darla, and Jeff; along with 13 great-grandchildren.
As per Guy’s wishes, a private visitation and blessing service were conducted in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, with interment taking place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
