Henry E. “Hank” Pence, 96, Died on March 4, 2015 at Homestead Village in Lancaster. Pa.

He was the husband of the late Margarite Haarbauer Pence. He was born on College Hill, Beaver Falls, Pa and the son of the late Philp and Florence Pence. He is survived by his daughter, Kandice Null, wife of John Null. Two grandchildren: Robert Null, husband of Christine Null, and Susan Null. One great granddaughter Katherine Null, all living in Lancaster, Pa.

He was preceded on death by one brother: Clarence Pence.

Hank Attended Geneva College and graduated from Carnegie Tech in Chemical Engineering. He served in England during WWII in the Army Air Corps as an engineering officer on P-51 Mustangs. After the war, he went to work for St. Joseph Lead Company in Monaca, Pa. and retired from there in 1979. He was a member of the American Chemical Society and several other engineering societies. Hank enjoyed golfing, working on the yard and traveling. He resided in Brighton Township until moving to Lancaster, Pa in 2008 to be closer to his daughter and family. Before moving he was a long time member of Park Presbyterian Church of Beaver

Friends will be received Monday March 9th from 11:00 until time of service at 12:00 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Service will be conducted By Reverend Mark Boyd of Park Presbyterian Church Beaver, entombment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com
