Irene R. Lemasters

Irene Rita (Petroff) Lemasters, 85, formerly of Midland, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness, Beaver.

Born July 13, 1936 in Midland, she had been a resident of Industry. Irene retired from Kaufmann’s Department store in 2001, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Beaver, the VFW, Midland, Red Hat Society, Butler, and a lifetime member of Hookstown Grange # 1980. Irene also loved to explore with her metal detector and camp at Slippery Rock Campground, where she was a member since 1980 and made many memories.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Lemasters, Sr.; son, John L Lemasters, Jr.; daughter, Susan L. Lemasters; two brothers Robert Petroff and Nick Selepec; and her sister, Helen Canney.

She will be greatly missed by daughters, Judy (Geoffrey) Saver, Hanover, and Joyce (Ronald) Lutton, Ohioville; brother, Joseph Petroff; sister, Kathy Nassel; grandchildren, Jonathan H. (Carla) Lutton, Ronald L. (Jacqueline) Lutton, Jessica Saver Dominowski, Stacey (Jim) Creese; Scotty Dickey; and Asia Lemasters; along with great-grandchildren, Jeffrey McCartney, Haley Creese, Jordan and Kathia Dickey, Gabriel, Damian & Braxton Lutton, and Tyler, Zachary and Kinzley Lutton.
