James S. Barrish

James S. Barrish, 70, of Ohioville, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away in his sleep, Monday, March 6, 2023.

Born April 9, 1952 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Stephen J. and Mary Ann Barrish. A resident of Ohioville, James retired after a 43-year career as an IBEW Machinist/Mechanic with First Energy. In his spare time, he was active with the Ohioville VFW/WOOZ Motorcycle Club, local pool leagues, and worked with youth as an WLBRA softball coach.

James will be greatly missed by his wife, Kathryn R. Barrish; daughters, Jamie A. Mickey, and Lindsey R. Barrish; son-in-law, Jason A. Mickey; brother-in-law, Raymond Harris; nephews, Scott R. and Mark S. Harris; and grandchildren, Easton J. and McKenna K. Mickey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Elizabeth Jean Balajak, and Mary Jane Leib.
