James W. "Bill" Noah, Sr.

James W. “Bill” Noah, Sr., 87, of Brighton Township, passed away peacefully, Friday, November 15, 2024, at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born February 8, 1937 in East Liverpool, OH, he was a son of the late George and Beulah Wolfe Noah. Bill was a proud member of the U. S. Army, serving as a specialist E-4 paratrooper. He went on to retire from a career as a packaging engineer with Westinghouse, and was a faithful member of Beaver Falls Christian Assembly Church. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. His passion was growing vegetables in his garden and sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends. On Friday afternoons, you would find him savoring a glass of homemade wine with his dear friends, Willy, Rose, Michael and Trish. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Delores “DeeDee” Noah; brother, George “Spud” Noah; and sister, Judy Dawson. He will be deeply missed by his son, James W. “Bill” (Terri) Noah, Jr.; daughter, Paula (Alan) Wojdyla; grandchildren, Joshua and Abigail Noah, and Paige Wojdyla; brother, David (Patti) Noah; sister-in-law, Diana George; nieces, Susan and Jennifer George; as well as numerous other family members and friends. As per Bill’s wishes, all services were private, with Pastor Dale Russo officiating. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.
