James A. "Jim" Shank

James A. “Jim” Shank, 66, of Industry, passed away on September 14, 2018 unexpectedly.

Born on July 9, 1952 in Rochester, PA he was the son of the late Harold Vincent and Eleanor Smith Shank, Jim was known for always having a smile on his face. He worked as a Director of the North Eastern Region for Nationwide Insurance and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Jim enjoyed any type of construction project and running machinery. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends and helping anyone in need, Jim was a true “family man.”

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Shank Sr., and Russell “Buddy” Shank; and a sister Bonnie Brucker.

Jim will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 21 years, Karen Shank; two daughters, Jayne (Craig) Gailey of Chippewa, and Julie (Mike) Fisher of Monaca; two step-daughters, Lori (Brian) Wainwright of East Palestine, Ohio, and Amy (Vic) Yarosz of East Palestine, Ohio; a step-son, Tony (Sarah) Ritz of Chippewa; grandchildren, Jenna, C.J. and Kara Gailey; Micayla and D.J. Fisher; Alexis (Matt) Engle; Andy Ellis; Sam and Nick Yarosz; and Sydney and Rooney Ritz; two brothers, Sonny (Jerry) Shank and Kenny Shank; a sister, Barb Kellerman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in the Noll Funeral Home, 333 Third Street, Beaver PA 15009 from 2pm-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in the funeral home at 11am by Pastor Wilmer Olszewski. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com
