Jean "Jeannie" M. Ahern Summers

Jean M. “Jeannie” Ahern, 63 of New Sewickley Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh surrounded by her family.

Born September 9, 1951in Charleroi, PA, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Margaret Bradish Summers and had been a resident of New Sewickley the past 2 ½ years having previously lived in Center Twp.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 41 years, Bruce W. Ahern, 2 sons, Rob P. (Jessica Worley) Ahern, Virginia Beach, Frank (Caroline Andersen) Ahern, Washington DC, a daughter, Lauren (David) Leist, Ohioville, 2 brothers, Alan (Sheran) Summers, Perryopolis, PA, Don Summers, Monaca, and a cherished grandson, Draven Leist.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a blessing service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 am by Father Robert Miller.
