Jerry Dunstan

Jerry Dunstan, 91, of Baden, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

Born November 22, 1931, he was a son of the late Nellie Dunstan. Jerry served in the U. S. Army and then served his community as a councilman and volunteer with the Baden Fire Department. He was also a proud and active member of the Baden Lions Club, where he served on the Honor Roll of Lions, a mason, and a lifetime member of the Baden American Legion. Jerry worked as a manager with Economy Plumbing and Heating in Baden, and later, as the owner of Sunflower Corner Hardware. He had a love for animals and classic cars, and was a faithful member of Baden United Methodist Church.

Jerry will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 69-years, Barbara Ann Nussbaum Dunstan; daughters, Melza (Martin) Kirsch, and Linda (John) Garcia; brother, Fran (Sara) Dunstan; grandchildren, Terra (Brandon Cartwright) Cottage, Natalie (Jermaine) Cottage-Thomas, and Katelin (Matt) Pauvlinch; great-grandchildren, Avery, Jase, Violet and Ford; and close friends who were like family to Jerry, John & Mary O’Connor, and their son, Jake.
