Jessie L. Mcdonald

Jessie L. McDonald, 92, formerly of Beaver, passed away early Monday morning, April 3, 2017 at the Masonic Village at Sewickley.

Born April 6, 1924 in Newmains, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Archibald McBlane and Christina Milligan Wilson. Jessie lived a full life as a loving wife, devoted mother and homemaker, and beloved grandmother. She was a faithful member of Park Presbyterian Church, Beaver.

Jessie will be greatly missed by her husband Dr. Dale E. McDonald, Sewickley; one son, Jeffrey (Sharon) McDonald, Marietta, PA; two daughters, Elizabeth (Hermann) Brosch, Beaver, and Penelope (Steve) Thomas, Orem, UT; one sister, Betty Mousseau, St. Joseph, MI; grandchildren, Heather (Lt. Col. Frank) Montgomery, Jessica McDonald, Julie (Ken) Bartel, Tama (James) D’Angelo, Ann Young, Sarah deYoung, Carmen (Steve) Black, Shonna (Garrett Loveless)Thomas, Cole Thomas, and Brynne (Jared) Gant; along with 12 great-grandchildren, Nora Bartel, Oliver D’ Angelo, Canyon and Sage Young, Halle Maestas, Tacy, Collin, Kaitlin, and Connor Maloy, Peter and Evelynne Gant, and Jack Montgomery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Archie and William Wilson.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 2 pm until 4 pm and 6 pm until 8 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A funeral service will be conducted by the Reverend Mark Boyd on what would have been Jessie’s 93rd birthday, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11 am at Park Presbyterian Church, Beaver.
