Joan Alma Gordon

Joan Alma Gordon, 88, of Beaver, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center, OH.

Born September 12, 1932 in Freedom, Joan will be remembered as a devoted wife, caring mother, and compassionate friend. She dedicated her life to her family and her faith. Her tenderness, laughter, and capacity to love inspired all who were lucky enough to know her. Joan was a life-long member of Hope Lutheran Church, Beaver.

Preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Donald F. Gordon in 2001; granddaughter, Stephanie Sinclair; brothers, Dale, Albert and Robert Brandt; and sisters, Ellen Boro and Luella Meiter.

Joan will be greatly missed by her son, Donald (Jinny) Gordon, Beaver Falls; daughters, Judith (Dennis) Sinclair, North Ridgeville, OH, and Lisa (Lane) Gordon Arbittier, San Diego, CA; and brothers, Thomas Brandt, Freedom, and Richard Brandt, Riverside, CA; along with 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday, August 13, 2021 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a service will be conducted Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 1 p.m. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
