Joann M. Tridico, 84, a lifetime resident of Midland, passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, April 8 in Springfield, Virginia. Born on October 27, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Cesare and Angelene Martinetti. She was a faithful and devoted member of St. Blaise Church, St. Augustine Parish in Midland, where she dedicated countless hours of her time in support of the parish. Joann held various jobs throughout her life, including her work as a histologist and medical transcriptionist at Beaver Medical Center. Throughout her life, Joann loved nothing more than cooking for her family, hosting gatherings, sewing and making beautiful quilts that will be cherished for generations. In 2021, Joann moved to Springfield where she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Laura Tridico; her grandchildren John, Anthony and Nicole; and her brother, Victor (Rose) Martinetti. She was preceded in death by her son, Philip Tridico and her brother, Gino (Mary Louise) Martinetti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Church, St. Augustine Parish, Midland, with a private entombment to take place at the Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum.
