John R. Carling, Jr.

John R. Carling, Jr., 71, of Brighton Twp., passed away following an extended illness, with his family at his side, Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Born July 23, 1951 in Beaver, he was a son of the late John and Jane Carling, Sr. A resident of Brighton Twp. all his life, he retired after a long career as a carpenter, and was an avid hunter.

John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vera Marsick Carling; daughters, Jessica (Justin) Stewart, Emily (Gino) Paoletti, and Megan Carling; sisters, Hazel (Rocky) Roksandich, Lucy (Jack) Weaver, and Rebecca (Rick) Quigley; along with grandchildren, Joshua Malone, Charlotte Stewart, Abby, Noah, and Anna Paoletti, and Sonny Moakley.

Friends will be received Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver., where a funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
